About Jessica

Jessica is a costume shop manager and draper. She believes in keeping her skills sharp in all aspects of costuming including patterning, construction, crafts, and wardrobe. Jessica is currently attending UNC-Chapel Hill with an expected graduation in the Spring of 2026 with an MFA in Costume Production. In the summers, she is the Costume Shop Manager at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.

 

She has a BFA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College with a concentration in Technical Design, and a double minor in Film Studies and Studio Art.

 

When she isn't in the costume shop, Jessica can be found knitting, crocheting, beading, embroidering, or horseback riding. She sells a variety of crafts on Etsy, Facebook, and Instagram through her store Crafts by JL.
